Executive Editor 

  • Developed a multi-pronged editorial strategy that brought in more than one billion pageviews annually.

  • Oversaw a staff of 24 full-time writers and editors across verticals and managed freelancer assignments.

  • Built and executed a brand strategy that included content packages, features, and cross-team collaborations.

  • Implemented search and growth strategy and worked with product teams on CMS UX.

  • Responsible for Business Insider's AI experimentation and policy development.

  • Collaborated on new content franchises to sell to sponsors.

 Singapore Bureau Chief 

  • Relocated to Singapore to launch Insider's Singapore bureau in early 2021.

  • Recruited, hired, and managed 12 journalists across news, business, tech, and lifestyle divisions.

  • Developed  Singapore bureau strategy that increased pageviews 200% year-over-year.

  • Created a “fast-feature” format responsible for bringing in 30 million pageviews, and developed documentation and trainings to bring the format to the newsroom at large.

  • Coordinated breaking news coverage and identified new audience growth opportunities.

  • Published a daily morning newsletter that was disseminated to readers around the globe.

  • Grew the style and beauty vertical to the number one beauty and style destination online, reaching 9 in 10 women and 340 million monthly cross-platform views

  • Oversaw the trending news department, which delivered highest per-story traffic and 40 million views per month.

  • Managed a team of 12 across multiple verticals to ideate new concepts, formats and frames for site, video, and social media.

  • Ran content sprints and lead multiple cross-team initiatives around new and experimental formats.

  • Liaised with tech, product, and business teams to provide editorial insights and build editorial products — including CMS improvements and SEO strategy rollout.

  • Ideated and executed cross-team and cross-platform tentpole initiatives, theme weeks, and best practices.

  • Collaborated with Product Labs on real-world product tie-ins and marketing strategies.

  • Developed organizational documentation including editorial and diversity standards, and occupational leveling.
